Chinese ceramic Foo Dog glazed emerald green with turquoise and gold-leaf details. The mythical animal with a defiant look, his left paw resting on a see-through ball and a joss stick holder attached to his back leg, thrones on a stand partially glazed golden brown with a green motif, and whose legendary duty is guardian of an entrance. (Tail and joss stick holder slightly damaged).
